چکیده

The P38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signal transduction pathway is widespread in organisms and plays important roles immune activities. infection mechanism of environmental gram-negative bacteria on crustaceans an scientific problem. In this study, the cDNA full-length sequence Portunus trituberculatus (PtP38) was cloned its structure analyzed by bioinformatics methods. To study function PtP38 gene after a Gram-negative bacterial infection, we injected P. with LPS to activate response instead directly infecting bacteria. With stimulation, expression different tissues increased significantly. At same time, immune-related genes (ALF crustin) hepatopancreas, activities antioxidant enzymes [superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) enzymes], apoptosis-related (caspase2 caspase3) were further conform response, inhibitor subsequently LPS. results showed that inhibited, activity decreased, inhibited. Thus, speculated may increase ability improving antimicrobial peptides, increasing oxidative stress-related enzymes, promoting cell apoptosis infected . This also laid foundation for MAPK signaling

Myeloid Cell Sirtuin-1 Expression Does Not Alter Host Immune Responses to Gram-Negative Endotoxemia or Gram-Positive Bacterial Infection

The role of sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) in innate immunity, and in particular the influence of SIRT1 on antimicrobial defense against infection, has yet to be reported but is important to define since SIRT1 inhibitors are being investigated as therapeutic agents in the treatment of cancer, Huntington's disease, and autoimmune diseases. Given the therapeutic potential of SIRT1 suppression, we sought to ch...

a study of gram-negative bacterial resistance to aminoglycosides

from hygienic and economical point of view, drug therapy and prophylaxy in infectious diseases are of great importance. after the world war ii, a reduction in the efficacy of sulfonamide in the treatment of shigellosis was observed and later on it led to a survey on drug resistance and the way of its transmission. the aim of this survey, during which 100 cases of gram-negative bacteria were ide...

Genetics of the (gram-negative) bacterial surface.

The surface of a gram-negative bacterium is made up of the lipopolysaccharide (l.p.s.) and protein components of the outer leaflet of its outer membrane, and of capsular polysaccharide, flagella and fimbriae if pre sent. In Salmonella all the special genes needed for synthesis of the O-specific oligosaccharide repeat unit (different in each O group) of the l.p.s. sidechains are found in the rf...
